Terrell Owens wants to play for the Jets, who might be the only team who would stoop that low

Terrell Owens is basically the Jose Canseco of the NFL at this point. No matter what he says or does, no one wants to go near him. Yet he keeps offering to play for any team that will even consider it.

One team like that is the New York Jets. They lost Santonio Holmes for the year, weakening what was already a mediocre receiving corps. Now, they've even resorted to giving cornerback Antonio Cromartie a chance at WR.

T.O. was apparently watching them on Monday Night Football tonight, and figured that it might be a good idea to remind them that he still exists, and is indeed still unemployed.

As entertaining as it would be for Owens to sign with the Jets, there's no way they'd actually do it.

I mean... that would be as absurd as them trying to use Cromartie as a WR, or Tim Tebow at QB, Joe McKnight as a wildcat QB, or lining up Mark Sanchez at WR. Now that I think about it, they did all of that tonight.

So maybe the Jets WILL give him a shot. Now that I think about it, it wouldn't be the craziest thing they've done this year. Or even this week.
