Mandatory Credit: Jim O'Connor-USA TODAY SportsMatt McGloin started at quarterback for the Oakland Raiders last week, after Terrelle Pryor was out due to injury, and Pryor says he understands the decision.

Pryor had to win the starting spot from Matt Flynn earlier in the season, but it seems as though he may have just lost it. That hasn’t gotten Pryor down though. He recently said:

"I am not frustrated. It's just a game. Other guys play well ... You get hurt, other guys play well, why not keep continuing with it? I don't blame Coach. I'm a team player. I hope Matt has a lot of success."

It’s a mature answer for someone who has only been in a leadership position for a few months. It also shows that Pryor is a team player who just wants to do what’s necessary to win.

McGloin will be starting again on Sunday, and the team will continue to see how that goes. Maybe they’ll be able to use Pryor in some other capacity if he’s not starting at QB because that’s too much athleticism to have on the bench.
