Louisiana Tech announced the decision to change the kickoff date to October 13 via Twitter late Tuesday afternoon. Both schools had open dates that week.
Isaac has influenced other game arrangements as well: South Alabama decided to postpone its matchup with Texas-San Antonio, and although Tulane's home game against Rutgers in the Superdome is still currently a go for Saturday as planned, the Green Wave have traveled to Birmingham for practice this week.
Issac, which has already reached winds of 80mph, has been predicted to hit the Gulf Shore sometime between Tuesday night and early Wednesday morning.
