Chris Jessie had his 'Wanna get away' moment last night, but it appears he wasn't the only Texan who felt this way.
Last night at the Alamo Bowl Pep Rally, a Texas A&M Yell Leader got a little carried away with his chants to the Penn State crowd.
"Joe Paterno's on his deathbed! And someone needs to find him a casket!"Penn Live describes his role as "one of the uniformed male cheerleaders who organize the regimented cheers at A&M's Kyle Field." That's great. This message unsurprisingly ignited a chorus of boos, some even coming from the stunned Texas A&M faithful.
"Dean Bresciani, A&M vice president for student affairs, later said by phone that all his school's officials were embarrassed by the incident: "We all have the utmost respect for Coach Paterno. Everyone from A&M was just standing there in amazement at what they were seeing.""He may not have been totally uninformed, Joe Pa is getting there, but probably want to keep your tasteless cheers for game time.
