Jones was arrested in February for assault that was later changed to a misdemeanor. Sanders was arrested in early April for driving under the influence of alcohol. Both are sophomores.

Through limited action, Jones caught two passes for 35 yards in 2012 while Sanders caught two passes for 15 yards. Both are expected to vie for more playing time for a competitive depth chart.

The Longhorns open against New Mexico State on Saturday, August 31.
