Texas Tech Receiver Suspended for DWI

Texas Tech has suspended wide receiver indefinitely after his April arrest on a drunken-driving charge.

According to the Lubbock-Avalanche Journal, police reports show Moore was taken in on April 13 after an officer witnessed him driving erratically.

Associate Athletics Director for Communication Blayne Beal said that Moore's actions are not condoned by the university and that he "made a poor choice." The possibility of reinstatement into the team in unclear.

Moore, now a senior, finished the 2011 season with 47 receptions for 571 yards and eight touchdowns in just nine games for the Red Raiders.
