The European Figure Skating Championships Just Got A Bit More Interesting

Up until today, I had never heard of Ekaterina Rubleva. After today, it's quite possible that I will never hear about her again.

However, due to a wardrobe malfunction at the European Figure Skating Championships in Helsinki, Rubleva is getting her 15 minutes of fame, whether she wants it or not.

As she was skating during her pairs routine, a strap on her costume broke, leaving her right breast exposed. Rubleva and her partner took it in stride, and she discreetly covered back up when their routine gave her a chance to do so.

A few minutes later in the routine, she was left out in the cold again, and had to readjust once again.

Mail Online has video of the event, as well as some NSFW pics, in case you were wondering. It's reminiscent of the incident with the member of the Greek women's water polo team back in the Olympics (also NSFW), except this figure skater is a bit more feminine. Thank goodness.

 I scored it a 5.4 on technical merit, and a 5.8 on presentation (because I had to deduct points since she only showed one).  I would suggest they might want to change their routine to dance with a more...well exposed song, such as Warrant's Cherry Pie...
