I've always found it weird that sports teams occasionally have Ladies Night Out events. They do realize there are ladies at normal games too, right?Anyway, with the Rockets seemingly mired in yet another season of mediocre and below-expectations basketball, they're having to get creative to draw fans. So they're throwing a Ladies Night Out on January 29 when the host the Golden State Warriors.
Now, personally, I think the Warriors are worth seeing regardless of a special night out, but they're my team.
Anyway, so what ladylike foods will be dining on at the event?
How about two hot dogs, two beers, and as a special bonus, two commemorative t-shirts, all for the special low, low price of $52.
Wow. Did the Rockets even bother to think this out? Or is their marketing department as mediocre as their team? Hot Dogs + Beer = Ladies? This sounds more like Fat Slobs Night Out. Most ladies I know like imported chocolates, diamond earrings, and spa packages - not processed meat on a bun.But hey, what do you expect from the Rockets? They've been disappointing people for years, this is just the latest example.
