Each Super Bowl has its good share of storylines. This one will have its usual share. You have the Patriots, a team that hasn’t lost. You have the Giants, who can’t seem to lose on the road, and so on and so forth. But perhaps the most important of one is one you’ll probably not hear about from the media.
Of course, I speak of the match up of Junior Seau and Jeff Feagles.
Now you’re probably asking, what do an old linebacker and old punter have to do with each other? Well, in 1991, the classic football game Tecmo Super Bowl was released. And now, only five players who were in that game remain in the NFL. And this is almost certainly the last time two will play against each other in the Super Bowl.
The two players will likely not be on the field at the same time. And both are probably done at years end, but we have to appreciate this match up while we can, because it will be the last of its kind.
