This forecaster, on the other hand, was right on the money again yesterday. So, if wins are powerful, and they are, March came In like a lion. The goal now is to make sure the rest of the month doesn't turn me into a lamb. Let's roar!
THE NBA (4-3 ATS/7-0 SU/5-2 TOTALS yesterday)
I thought this lion would be sleeping tonight when I first looked at tonight's schedule, but as it turns out, there's one game that ended up jumping off the page at me once the numbers were posted.
BUTTA (no play yesterday)
Wolves (-260) over NUGGETS - The Wolves have gotten healthy with Pekovic and Kevin Martin back in the lineup, and that's huge for them. I think they're too far back to get into the playoff race again, but they'll be a handful for everyone as long as they're healthy. The Nugs, however, just keep breaking down. Not only is Lawson still "out", but Kenneth Faried is also listed as "doubtful" for tonight. It's a road game for Minny, and they don't play particularly good defense, so laying (-6 1/2) is a bit of a risk for me, but the Wolves are better and will win the game.
ALL THE REST
|WIZARDS (+1 1/2, U180)||85||NETS (-3 1/2, O186 1/2)||98|
|PISTONS (-4 1/2, O208)||107||HEAT (-12 1/2, U198)||105|
|Jazz (+1, U196)||92||Wolves (-6 1/2, O212 1/2)||112|
|BLAZERS (-12, U221 1/2)||115||KINGS (-4, U204)||104|
---You'll notice that I've gone against my numbers in siding with the Jazz tonight in Milwaukee. I think Utah is the better team, but I won't play the game because the Jazz are on the b2b, and they are only 2-7 SU on the road in that situation.
---The more things change, the more they stay the same. I might discuss tomorrow, but the "soft-scheduled" Champs face a Bobcats team tonight that is playing on a b2b. But that's not all. The 'Cats are playing their 3rd b2b since the break, while the Heat are playing only their 5th game in the same time frame, and Miami will be on a b2b tomorrow, and that will be their first set of consecutive games since Jan. 20-21.
---At least we aren't going to have the Knicks forced on us again tonight. New York plays it's 4th game in 5 nights tonight, and they've been on national TV getting punked for all of the first 3. There is progress though. At least the Knicks didn't lose my 20+ yesterday.
COLLEGE HOOPS (10-8 ATS/15-3 SU/7-11 TOTALS yesterday)
BUTTA (2-0 yesterday)
The lion will be sleeping tonight on these 4 games.
ALL THE REST
|Notre Dame||62||N. Carolina St. (+11 1/2, U136)||42|
|N. CAROLINA (-10 1/2, U144 1/2)||78||PITT||45|
|Kansas St. (+9, O137 1/2)||69||Xavier (-1 1/2, U136)||70|
|OKLAHOMA ST.||77||SETON HALL||66|
---I thought, at first blush, we might have something with Okie St. tonight, but we've been priced out of it. The Pokes are trying to get back in the conversation for The Madness and will need to win out, plus go deep into the conference tourney to get in, I think. I do think they will win this game tonight, but the wood is just too many for me to lay.
Have a great rest of your Monday. I'll see you tomorrow.
