And so the wait begins....

Mandatory Credit: Mark J. Rebilas-US PRESSWIREMarch seems like it shall never come. Yes, there is the NFL, college basketball, and fall pick-up games to distract me from the long months between the last Cardinals game of the season and the first day of spring training. But there is no greater joy than watching my St. Louis Cardinals take to the field each season.

However, as I sit here going into the beginning stages of MLB hibernation I cannot help but turn on the World Series game. Regardless of my team loyalty, the love of baseball will always run deep within me.  Plus, I need to see if the team that shall not be named that took the Cards out of the running will destroy the Tigers.  If we had to lose, I would prefer to lose to the team who won the World Series.

While this post is not anything earth-shattering, it is nice to vent out a little of my sadness that the MLB season is drawing to a close for another year.  My posts will most likely consistent of fantasy football and college basketball until February.  But not to worry! I will be keeping everyone updated on off-season trades, injuries and locker room gossip!

I'm excited to be a part of this community now and see where it takes me!
