The Los Angeles Dodgers' new ownership group hasn't only spent a ton of money on players, but they've also been renovating the team's stadium and it's nearly done.
President Stan Kasten said the major renovations will be done by the second home game of the regular season. These will include amenities on all levels, a new clubhouse and improved cell service.
They'll also have upgraded Wi-Fi by June, giving them the “most extensive Wi-Fi network anywhere in baseball,” according to Kasten.
It's great that they're paying attention to little details like this not only because people in Los Angeles are constantly working and attached to their devices, but because the Dodgers have unrolled their rewards plan which relies heavily on social media.
So, while it won't be done for opening day, the excitement should be enough to get people to the second game when they can see the new features.
