The Numbers Don't Lie, People.

Could Iowa Win The 2009 NCAAF National Title?

So, who will be taking home the crystal egg at the end of the 2009 college football season?  Oklahoma?  Nope.  USC?  Nope.  Alabama?  Nope.  Iowa.  Maybe.....

The guys at Doc's Sports have crunched the numbers together to determine what credentials each football team will need to bring to the 2009 season to have any chance at a national title.

Check out the link to see the numbers.  I know that they don't play the game on paper, but it's hard to argue with those numbers.  So run to your bookie and place a bet on each of these teams to win it all, because it has to be one these 6, right?

Who are the 6 teams?  Florida, Iowa, Ole Miss, Texas, West Virginia, and Virginia Tech.

Is there any team out there that can/will become a stat freak's nightmare and win it all without being on this list?  Who's it gonna be?

Some idiotic writer, or TV talking head will find a way to diregard Iowa's 7-0 record, even though they have won at Penn State, and at Wisconsin. I hope the Hawkeyes go undefeated, because that means they will have beaten the dreaded Buckeyes.

I thought the fact that Iowa was on this list made this a humor piece.

Maybe the folks at Doc Sports has something going here...

Also note that I posted this in July.
