Should we even bother with playing the NHL season? Seriously, a team as dominant as the Detroit Red Wings acquiring Marion Hossa without losing any major components to this years cup team is just not fair. To make matters worse, they are taking that talent away from probably their strongest competitor. The Penguins have a lot of VERY talented youth who are just going to get even better, but it's not like the Red Wings are just a bunch of old, crusty, has beens. I will allow for the fact that some team's goalie could get extraordinarily hot a la J. S. Giguere a couple of years ago, but barring something like that, Lord Stanley's Cup doesn't appear to be going any where for a while.
