Fluker is the third consecutive Alabama product to be picked, after cornerback Dee Milliner went 9th to the Jets and guard Chance Warmack went 10th to the Titans.

Fluker is expected to start from day one at right tackle for a very depleted Chargers offensive line. Last season San Diego allowed 49 sacks -- third most in the NFL. San Diego's run offense was just as bad, as they posted only four rushing touchdowns all season.

Jared Gaither is no longer in the picture in San Diego, so tackle was a must-have for the Chargers. Some scouts see Fluker as just a right tackle, though other analysts think he can eventually slide to the left side.

A lot of pundits see this season as the make-or-break season for Chargers and Philip Rivers, who have an aging roster.

Fluker stirred up some controversy this week by tweeting that he took money while at Alabama. His agent has since claimed that Fluker's account had been hacked.
