However in the bottom 6th Delmon Young homered off of San Francisco starter Matt Cain to tie the game. The bullpens held until Scutaro scored Theirot from second with two outs in the tenth. Theriot began the frame with a bloop single to right field.

AL triple-crown winner Miguel Cabrera struck out looking in the bottom of the 10th to end the game. Cabrera did have his first extra-base hit of the postseason earlier in the game, a two-run homer that at the time gave the Giants the lead.

The Giants previously won the World Series in 2010.

If I wasn't such a HUGE backer of the Giants I would agree that it wasn't all that compelling a Series.  But as a Giants enthusiast for the last 32 years I'd say this was one of the best World Series' I've ever seen!!!!!

WTG Giants!  The series wasn't the best I've seen, but this last game sure was! Well deserved!
