The Worst Fans In The World or Hallelujah, It's Raining Beer!

What better way to celebrate Thanksgiving than with a story about Soccer in Turkey!

From what I've been able to tell, in the Turkish Super League, there is no more heated rivalry than the Istanbul Derby matchup of Galatasaray vs Fenerbahce.  Over the years, their meetings have been marred by fights on the pitch (before, during, and after the game), fights in the stands, riots outside the stadium and, on one notable occasion, the stands were set on fire during the game.   Visiting fans even have to be snuck into the host stadium to avoid abuse from the home fans.  Most recently, we have this incident, where fans showed their, ummmm, distaste for the opposing player by literally showering him with cup after cup of beer.  Something may be lost in the translation but, either the home fans really hate the other team, or the stadium only serves Coors Light...
