Your slightly belated open thread for today. Next Thursday is the big day, but frankly there's more hoops to be had today. Never a bad thing. Best games today:
Villanova vs Georgetown (12, ESPN) - We all know what happened last time. Let's hope the officials won't decide this one with creative final second shenanigans. It appears Georgetown isn't even going to let this be close. Up 10 at the moment.
Illinois vs Penn State (2:30, ESPN2) - Just kidding, this one will suck.
West Virginia vs Connecticut (2:30, ESPN) - I'm calling a Bobby Huggins special here. Playing that extra day in advance has always helped the underdogs and the Mountaineers got all their bad shots out of the way yesterday. Joe Alexander doesn't know how good he is yet.
Arizona vs Stanford (11:30, FSN) - Another upset. I like the Cardinal, but like I said above the fact Arizona has already played should help.
