An Official Homecoming: Ravens host the Browns in TNF [Thursday Night Football Live Thread]

9/27/12 in NFL   |   Jess   |   34848 respect

By now we all know that tonight's game will be officiated by the real NFL refs, which may or may not mean we'll have a better officiated game than we have over these past few weeks. Over/under on how long it takes for the first questionable call to complain about is 12.5 minutes. Okay, I made that up. I do suspect there to be a lot of penalties called, however, in this rivalry game between the Browns and Ravens.

Blog Photo - Thursday Night Football Week 4 Live ThreadUsually rivals play better against each other than anyone else. However, in this case, the Ravens own this series so far by a whopping 12 games (19-7 all-time).

The Browns haven't beat the Ravens since 2007, a game which ended in overtime. An overtime that was made possible by a very controversial call that went Cleveland's way. It's quite an interesting coincidence that this game will be the homecoming of the regular refs after three weeks of officiating chaos in the NFL, isn't it?

I think that the Ravens will take this game, if they keep playing the way they have been.

Q it up with us here tonight for Thursday Night Football! (And don't forget to set your FF lines....go!)

Why do I get the feeling this game will end with a Hail Mary and an offensive pass interference call?  wink

hah...what a stupid personal foul to take - I would have laughed if Cleveland had scored on that last play. Ravens tried to give it away, but the Browns just didn't want it.

Did Mayock just call Suggs "T - Sizzle"? This man is busting me up tonight.

Phil Dawson is still the Browns MVP

Cleveland has had several opportunities. They have blown this.

This game's about to get interesting, with the downpour (and they keep saying "slobber knocker" - giving me giggle fits)

If Cleveland doesn't start to move the ball some there D won't be able to stand up in the second half

Oh God, that was awesome.... "How many players allowed on the field" is my favorite part besides the end with the 5th and 1 meme. Best use of that song so far.

I think Jess is staring outside her window in a odd daze thinking what kind of candy bar would be best to draw in Sasquatch. She isn't buying the Jack Links hype i mean really who buys that stuff. I think ya gotta go just a little outside the box and try a " whatyamacallit  " if ya can find one, i mean doesn't it just seem like a extravagant Sasquatch treat enlightened

(yes this is what happens during commercials)

I would say Welker even though ill be hoping he gets plowed under by a safety indecision

9/27/12   |   richard_cranium   |   17679 respect

Torrey Smith, Wes Welker, or Jeremy Maclin? Who would you start?

9/27/12   |   Sharp Square   |   11945 respect

Gimme over 12.5 mins for a nickle !    The real ref's get a 1st half of 1st game back pass thanks to the acts of scabs past indecision
