So, what makes me so mad about this Tiger Woods case is that the mainstream media is basically not doing their job. No one in their right mind believes that Elin Woods actually smashed the back windshield of Tiger's car, and pulled the 6-1, 200+ lbs. golfer over two rows of seats to safety. Yet that's what almost every major media outlet is reporting. It's not true. And no one at the major media outlets has the guts to ask questions.
And now that we have photos of Tiger's car from that night, the idea that Elin smashed the windshield to save Tiger goes from ridiculous to it clearly didn't happen that way.
As you can see from the pictures below, Tiger's car hit the tree on the passenger side, and the accident did no damage to the doors of the car.
Remember, Woods ran over the fire hydrant first, slowing him down, so he probably hit the tree at sub-25 mph. And remember, the airbag didn't deploy, meaning this was a low speed accident (airbags don't typically deploy below 32 mph).
So what does this all lead to? That the Elin story is complete BS, and that the TMZ story is probably the truth. They got into an argument about Tiger having an affair, she scratched his face, he ran out to the car as she chased him, then she smashed his back windshield with a golf club as he sped out of the driveway. You just won't ever hear that from ESPN, even though it's exactly what happened.
