As a result of the poorly officiated NBA Finals Game 2 and Tim Donaghy conveniently accusing the league of fixing the 2002 Finals the conversation throughout the reminder of this week will inevitably be focused around David Stern's promise that he'd offer us, the fans, more transparency.

Last night, Jeff Van Gundy addressed the current situation and had a slightly different response to his calling out the NBA in regards to Yao Ming being singled out by officials. While the former Knicks and Rockets head coach is fairly critical, I'd love to know his real actual thoughts. ABC allowed him to be as critical as they could, demanding this supposed 'transparency' from Stern, but also made sure to say that Tim Donaghy wasn't credible.

I doubt Van Gundy actually feels that way. As I've come to really appreciate his frankness during broadcasts this season (seriously, he's one of the best, if not THE best), I know he's a full backer of any and all conspiracy theories.

Another backer of those theories is this disgruntled fan who claims to have stopped watching the NBA after that Game 6 of the 2002 NBA Finals. So upset, in fact, that he put together this dramatic video timeline of these events:
