I'm a little disappointed Tim Tebow didn't thank me during his acceptance speech. Turns out he loves being a part of Gator Nation. That was basically the exact opposite speech of Charles Woodson, who failed to thank any of his teammates and just thanked his exceptional talent.
While the result is hardly a surprise it's a monumental win for underclassmen. Tebow's unprecedented victory opens up the door for a freshman to win the award which will have sooner or later. This now gives a myriad of talented to-be sophomores more attention at the starting gate.

Not surprising, but I think it's unfortunate Todd Reesing didn't even show up in the Top 10. While Kansas didn't play an elite schedule, Hawaii's schedule made the Jayhawks look like they toured the top 10. Good to see a couple defensive players up there. After a freshman wins the award, the next barrier will be for a defensive player. Do you think it will ever happen?
Your thought on Tim Tebow?
