Yes, this is something that someone was paid to write for a news organization that claims to be reputable.
LA Times columnist Chuck Schilken churned out this atrocity this morning, after watching Peyton Manning and the Broncos roll past the Steelers in last night's prime time game.
Schilken's conclusions are so offensive to even the most basic of football minds that it seems as though termination of his employment would be too kind a fate.
I desperately hope that this is satire, but since I'm not entirely familiar with Schilken's work, I can't be sure. If it is, it's the worst kind of satire, because there are actually idiots out there (paging Mr. Bayless) who sincerely believe this drivel.
Congratulations to Chuck Schilken, who wins this week's award for the biggest troll on the entire internet.
