Update: The trade between the Denver Broncos and the New York Jets involving Tim Tebow is NOT done, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Schefter is also reporting that the Jacksonville Jaguars are back in the mix and are trying to finalize a deal with the Broncos.
Filed to ESPN (1): Denver and Jets have encountered hangup in language in Tim Tebow's contract that could nullify trade.
— Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter) March 21, 2012
Jeff Darlington of NFL.com reported that a Broncos source said that the Jets agreed to the trade without fully reading the contract, which included a $5 million payment that other teams, such as the Jaguars, balked at. If the deal falls through, the Rams are expected to be a possible landing spot for Tebow.(2) If the Tebow trade to Jets falls apart, St. Louis could wind up getting back into play. Sides sorting through details.

A day after officially signing Peyton Manning, the Denver Broncos made quick work in trading their former savior at quarterback, Tim Tebow.
Denver will send Tebow to the New York Jets in exchange for a fourth-round draft pick, according to a report by Jay Glazer.
Tebow will join Mark Sanchez at quarterback for the Jets.
It is unclear how the Jets plan to utilize Tebow--as a starter, backup or wildcat quarterback. Or perhaps they will use him at another position?
One thing is for sure, Tebow, who is known as a very nice, and religious, person and Jets' potty-mouthed head coach Rex Ryan will sure be entertaining to watch together.
Last season Tebow took over for Broncos' starter Kyle Orton and led Denver to the playoffs and a Wild Card weekend upset of the Pittsburgh Steelers. He did this despite completing just 46.5 percent of his passes.
Sanchez, for his part, completed 56.7 percent of his passes for 26 touchdowns and 18 interceptions last year--though he did have an penchant for underperforming late in games.
Jacksonville had been rumored to the most likely landing spot for Tebow, but the Jets reportedly offered a better deal.
Jets and former Jets don't seem thrilled with the move. The team's former nose tackle Kris Jenkins said that the trade "made him throw up in his mouth," and defensive back Antonio Cromartie made it clear he thinks New York should be building around Sanchez, who just got a three-year extension.
Y bring Tebow in when we need to bring in more Weapons for @Mark_Sanchez let's build the team around him. We already signed to 3 year ext.

So was this a good move for the Jets? Who do you envision taking most of their snaps in 2012?

Maybe Rex is going to turn Tebow into a tight end. I sure cant see any other reason why they would make this trade.

I think the Broncos made a huge mistake forcing Tebow out. They should 've kept him and have him "learn" under Manning. Peyton has 3 maybe 4 seasons left in him, and that's if he doesn't get hurt. When the Broncos need a back-up QB, Tebow will be much more "rounded". Not just a Fullback who happens to take snaps as he is now.

Usually I think Antonio Cromartie is a huge dope, but in this case I have to agree with him. There really wasn't a NEED for Tim Tebow. I think the Jets made this move more for what they think he can do off the field than on it. The locker room was chaotic to say the very least, and I think they feel that Tebow is going to somehow change that. The team takes on the personality of the COACH and as long as Rex Ryan is who and what he is, then the culture of the locker room won't change. If anything, this adds more confusion to the mix. As soon as the Jets realize Mark Sanchez is just a richer version of the same Mark Sanchez, the fans will be calling for Tebow and then you'll hear "anonymous Jets players" saying the same thing. Call me skeptical, but I see no good whatsoever coming from this for anyone involved.

I wish the Cardinals would've offered a 3rd round pick for him, they could use him more than the Jets need him.

I'm kind of numb right now. Honestly, I did not think this is where he would end up, and I have to wonder, like many, why??
And LMAO at Kris Jenkins. That's almost the way I feel when the media mention his name.

I can already predict the future, its been a comical year in Jet land in 2012 with Sanchez and Teblows.
