TMZ reported early this morning that Britt had been arrested, once again, for a DUI at 3:30 A.M. Tuesday morning at a U.S. Army base at the border of Kentucky and Tennessee. The Fort Campbell Police Department took him into custody and impounded his bright red Dodge Challenger in the process.
This is only one of many run-ins with the law for the third-year receiver as it seems he has yet to mature. He was busted for reckless driving in April 2011 and again in June 2011 for resisting arrest. The 23-year old has been unable to adjust to the life of a full-time athlete off the field while recovering from injuries sustained on it. The Titans were hoping the talented star would instantly help boost the receiving core, however, injuries have thus far derailed his short career. If he is unable to clean up his act off the field, he may not be given the opportunity to prove his worth on it. Britt has all the tools to become one of the top receivers in football, however, his mental incapacities and physical ailments have so far held him back.
Can Britt recover from his latest incident with the law? Can he recover in time from his latest knee surgery to be ready for Week 1?
