With the tenth pick in the NFL Draft, the Tennessee Titans selected Chance Warmack, guard from Alabama. Warmack is a nasty blocker who fills a big need for the Titans.

The 6-10 Titans finished last year 21st in rushing yards, averaging just over 100 yards per game, despite having one of the most explosive runners in the NFL in Chris Johnson and a capable runner in Jake Locker under center.  Johnson was repeatedly hit behind the line of scrimmage and struggled for much of the year.

Signing former Bills guard Steve Levitre helped address the Titans need for a guard and drafting Warmack solidifies the position. It is a little shocking that two guards have been taken in the top ten, but in this lineman-heavy draft, teams are players that fit their needs best.
