Enter Tom Daley, the 29th ranked diver in the world who specializes in the insane 10-meter dive. His nickname - Diver Boy - could sure use some work though.
Daley's already qualified for the individual event at the World Cup, thanks to a weekend of beating people twice his age at the British Diving Championships. But he's also primed for a spot in the 10m synchro event in Beijing. His partner is old fart Blake Aldridge (Age: 25).
Daley and old-man Aldridge need to finish in the top eight at the World Cup event in Beijing in February to have a realistic shot.
I must admit I'm impressed by Daley. About the only thing of note I could do when I was 13 was beat Duck Tales 2 on hard mode.
