Subject I came to realize...
Body Good Morning Rheda, I keep reading where you refer to yourself as a recovering "know it all". I guess that should be self explanatory but I can't envision it. The Know it Alls" I have known didn't have a clue and would never have believed it if you told them. How did you come to the point of "recovering".? Gotta go now. Early morning breakfast meeting. That I was a control freak. That was not a characteristic conducive to harmonious relationships. I used to think it was my way or the highway, buster! I argued about everything every chance I could.
One day God spoke to me...you know that unction from the Holy Spirit. I was directed to read Ephesians and some other scriptures. I really is rather a long story but suffice it to say my life was changed when I was able to seek the wisdom of our Lord Jesus Christ. I began to see others views in a different light. I was able to begin to see that some things are just not worth a fight. I began to see that my quest for being right was destroying me and those I came in contact with. I used to claim to "know it" when I was admonished for something. For instance, I ask a friend "what should I do?" They tell me good counsel and I would say "I know that already..." I don't do that anymore. The "recovering" refers to the fact that I am not perfect...still a work in progress.

That kinda explains your guys on the teeter-totter??

Well if you listen to some people, they think I'm bi-polar. I don't know why. So what if I want to hide in a tree and throw rocks at cops. Does that make me strange? Well yeah, but I have so much fun doing it.

That's a great way to see yourself, recovering. I would admit that also, but my domineering side refuses to let me say it, my dominated side is scared to say it and my procrastinating side isn't sure it's time to make the acknowledgment. Oh yeah, my Court Appointed therapist has troubles with me as well.

My Sweet Friend, thank you for sharing..I like you have learned the long hard way to realize we aren't always right..I try to spend alot of quite time with God and seek his will and his way..I'm also still a work of art for God..i'm now working on very hurt feelings from friends and not carry any anger towards them..Again thank you for sharing..guess we both can pray for each other..take care and be happy in life.lots of love and hugs,KarenD.
