10. Peter Budaj, Montreal Canadiens
Budaj makes the list for one reason, and one reason only. Ned Flanders.
9. Mike Smith, Phoenix Coyotes
Smith's tribute to Wile E. Coyote is almost perfect, for a Phoenix Coyotes goalie. The only thing that could possibly be better is, well... the OTHER Coyotes goalie's mask. That one is coming later in the list.
8. Cam Ward, Carolina Hurricanes
Ward's mask is a treasure for fans of pirates. And honestly... who isn't a fan of pirates?

7. Al Montoya, New York Islanders
Montoya's mask is quite fitting for the Islanders, with the fishing boat captain, the waves, the compass... this thing is awesome.
6. Dan Ellis, Anaheim Ducks
Ellis' masks hearken back to the days when the Ducks were Mighty. Except for the little rubber ducky with the pirate mask. I don't understand that, but i'm cool with it.

Cam Ward consistently has badass lids - his are always at the top of my list from year to year. I don't know if it's just his style or the coloring or what.He uses that chrome paint a lot, and that's my favorite.
I like Jonas Hiller's 3D Wild Wing mask a little more than I like Ellis's, but Ellis's is really cool too. Hiller always has something pretty awesome going on though.
This Bent Johnson mask made me laugh:
