I haven't really covered the Tour de France much (not at all), but there just hasn't been anything worthwhile to report. That was until Day 9.
First, Marcus Burghardt had a rather unfortunate day, losing a battle with a wayward dog. Face meet concrete. Fortunately, both dog and cyclist were ok.
Then there was your standard Tour news: T-Mobile rider Patrik Sinkewitz tested positive for increased level's of testosterone. Two German TV stations have since suspended coverage, a decision I wholeheartedly support. If the advertising and prize money plummet, perhaps then the sports will make sweeping changes. Congrats to those of you who took Day 10 or Under in the Tour de France Drugs Pool.
Alright, time to watch the dog crash video again. It shouldn't be funny, but it is.
