No question that he was a great college player and now he has the Championship trophy for additional validation. The NBA is still a big question mark, but he might do just fine. I think that it would be great to see someone with his work ethic and toughness be rewarded...not some of these super talented, lazy, prima-donna athletes that do well all the time.

I would love to see him come in and just be a work horse who hustles on every play, getting 15 points and 10 boards.

everyone says that tyler wont do anything in the nba and that he will only play about 4 years at the most, but i think that he'll be just fine, his work ethic alone will get him some playing time, i'm not saying he will be a 7 time all star or anything but i definitely think that he can come off the bench and provide quality minutes and have ok stats, i think he'll last a good 7-8-9 years before he gets bored and goes back to chapel hill to do something

i'm not a pro scout and really don't know about such things.....and with that being said i don't know of many kids with the heart tyler has,his love for the game,his desire to always do better.i don't think he has the bulk to play the small forward power forward or center positions,but he has alot of heart and he could become one of the greastest 6th man in basketball.kurt rambis took that 6th man job with the laker's in the 80's and done a great job........and he was another slow gooft white guy........with 3 championship rings.
