You have to watch these videos on Jim Mora's response to a player's death
Bruins coach Jim Mora was supposed to deliver a press conference speech that nobody wants to go through—not even those gathering the news. He was two minutes in when a reporter in the room picked up his cell phone and began to talk out loud and carry a conversation.
As you can expect, Mora quickly grew angry towards the reporter, telling him how disrespectful he was. The reporter hung up his phone and then had the audacity to reply by saying "go on."
It's pretty sickening that something like this had to happen when the life of a student-athlete was being honored by his coach. Mora immediately left the conference room, ending the interview and subsequently making that particular reporter the biggest jackass on planet earth.
It should be noted (and I've attached the video) that Mora did recollect himself and continued the press conference outside of the facility. It's unknown whether the reporter was present (or if he was even allowed to stay on campus).
There are a few things learned here: Jim Mora is a classy, emotional and caring guy, and reporters should ALWAYS have their cell phones turned off or on silent during an interview.
Prayers are with the Pasquale family and UCLA football team.
