Anderson Silva will be a 12-1 favorite heading to his UFC 153 fight against Stephan Bonnar.
Anderson Silva (-1200) vs. Stephan Bonnar (+700): This is a fight that has been panned by many fight fans and MMA experts alike, but this is a dangerous match up for Silva. Bonnar is the bigger and stronger fighter. He has never been knocked out or submitted in a fight, and most importantly has nothing to lose. Of course Silva is a 12 to 1 favorite, as he should be, but this fight has all the ingredients of a major upset. Bonnar is a fighter that will not be afraid of the Champion and is going to stand in the center of the Octagon and trade blows. What ever happens in this fight, at least we know it will not be boring. Bonnar will either pull off the greatest upset in UFC history or Silva will add another spectacular knockout to his resume. Prediction: Silva is going to win this fight, but Bonnar has so much value at +700. If you are looking to gamble, betting Bonnar looks like a great spot.
Minotauro Nogueira (-310) vs. Dave Herman (+250): Nogueira is the better fight in every area. He is better standing and better on the ground, but can we really expect the 36 year old fighter, who is also coming off a gruesome arm injury to win this fight? This is a situation were the odds are completely off. Nogueria is the better fighter, but the value on the young and hungry Herman is just too good to pass up. Herman is a solid striker with power in his hands and will have a real shot at winning this fight. Prediction: Herman pulls of the upset with a late fight TKO.
Erick Silva (-130) vs. Jon Fitch (+110): Erik Silva is a lightening quick and dynamic fighter. His fight against the methodical and smothering Jon Fitch will be an interesting style match up. Silva is the favorite here, and I can see why, but Fitch has only lost twice in his last 24 fights. Silva may be the new age of MMA but I will need to see him prove it before I jump on the boat. Prediction: Fitch by decision.
Glover Teixeira (-400) vs. Fabio Maldonado (+325): Glover Teixeira is supposed to be the next big thing in MMA. He will have his chance to prove himself at UFC 153 when he takes on the dangerous former professional boxer Fabio Maldonado. Prediction: Teixeira by early TKO.

Dana is now saying it will happen. It better happen in 2013 before Anderson gets old. I mean he's already past his prime. It's amazing he's still performing at this level.

Dana basically said he'll throw so much money at Anderson that he'll agree to fight Jones. You don't buy that?

The anger is more about the fact that we should be seeing Bones vs Anderson and we never will. All the other fights we are getting with them right now are pointless. I never mentioned the under card. The main event is my issue.

Really? That was a great fight! It was more about how great Anderson is than about how "bad" Bonnar was. If you can't appreciate a fight like that then you probably should be done with the UFC. The PPV was great, Fitch vs Silva was awesome, Texiera vs Maldonaldo was super entertaining, big Nog had a huge sub and Maia looked great as well. I have no idea what you are complaining about. Jon Jones couldn't finish Bonnar, and Silva comes in and does it with one knee.

Dana White loves you. He gives us garbage fights and you drink the kool aid by actually thinking Bonnar could make it interesting. The fight, as I thought, was a total joke. I'm almost done with the UFC.

Bonnar always comes to fight, I think it's going to be an exciting match up

Silva will be the first person to make Bonnar submit.
