UFC fight night was one of the most entertaining mixed martial arts card in recent memory. The event, which was broadcast live from Brisbane, Australia, featured a brutal ground-and-pound knockout, a vicious left hook from a UFC legend, and a classic heavyweight bout that ended in a majority draw.
Mauricio ‘Shogun’ Rua turned back the clock, if for only one night, in the co-main event of the evening by blasting through James Te Huna with a brutal left hook early in the first round. Australian heavyweight Soa Palelei stopped Pat Barry early in the first round with aggressive ground-and-pound which left Barry dazed and confused.
The biggest fight of the night was a five-round war between Mark Hunt and Antonio ‘Big Foot’ Silva, which many people on social media are already calling the greatest heavyweight fight in UFC history. The main event won a ‘Fight of the Night’ bonus and ended in a majority draw. Here is a look list of the result from the rest of the card.
