Jim Miller and Joe Lauzon received $65,000 for Fight of the Night honors at UFC 155
The UFC awarded four of its fighters $65,000 a piece for their spectacular performances at UFC 155. The promotion typically awards three post-fight bonuses to its fighters in three categories: fight of the night, submission of the night, and knockout of the night.
Jim Miller and Joe Lauzon each took home $65,000 as ‘fight of the night winners’ for their fast paced and bloody three-round affair. The fight was cheered wildly by fans, and is probably a last minute candidate for fight of the year.
Heavyweight Todd Duffee was the knockout of the night winner, with his quick and brutal KO of British fighter Philip De Fries. John Moraga won submission of the night for his guillotine win against Chris Cariaso.
The UFC also award Cain Velasquez a Harley Davidson motor cycle for his five-round victory over Junior dos Santos.
