UFC on FOX 8: What You Need to Know

The event will also feature a highly anticipated matchup between two of the best welterweight fighters in the world when Rory McDonald and Jake Ellenberger face off in the night’s co-main event. Let’s take a quick look at the card and betting odds for Saturday’s fights.

Liz Carmouche (-525) vs. Jessica Andrade (+325)

Jorge Masvidal (-265) vs. Michael Chiesa (+205)
Mac Danzig (-115) vs. Marvin Gullard (-115)
The Time and Place:
The UFC on FOX 8 is set to take place at the Key Arena in Seattle Washington. The main card will begin at 8 p.m ET, while the prelims will start at 5 p.m ET which will also consist of two fights streamed from Facebook as well.
Why it Matters:
The card will feature a title bout from perhaps the most exciting division in Mix Martial Arts as well as one of the best and most technical champions on the UFC roster in Demetrious ‘Might Mouse’ Johnson. The event will also showcase a stellar matchup between two of the top ranked welterweights in the world as Rory McDonald and Jake Ellenberger matchup in the octagon. For Ellenberger a win will catapult him to the top of the title shot line and a possible matchup between the winner of November’s championship tilt between Georges St. Pierre and Johny Hendricks. For McDonald a title shot is not in the cards—at least not yet—because the young Canadian trains, and is good friends with, the champion St. Pierre.
