UFC on Fox 10: Henderson vs. Thompson Odds
The undercard will also feature UFC mainstays Jeremy Stephens, Donald Cerrone and the younger brother of lightweight champion Anthony Pettis, Sergio Pettis. Here is a quick look at the odd for every matchup on the card.
Benson Henderson (-340) vs. Josh Thompson (+260)
Benson Henderson is coming off a disappointing loss to current lightweight champion Anthony Pettis. Henderson suffered an injury during his first-round submission loss, and will try to rebound with a huge win over the surging Josh Thompson. ‘Smooth’ is a huge favorite entering the matchup, and will be expected to dominate the matchup with his strong wrestling and athleticism. Thompson, on the other hand, is a dynamic striker that is coming off an impressive destruction of the always-exciting Nate Diaz. The former Strikeforce lightweight champion was scheduled to take on Pettis last winter, but was forced to take a fight with Henderson after the champion suffered another knee injury during training.
Stipe Miocic (-260) vs. Gabriel Gonzaga (+200)
Both Stipe Miocic and Gabriel Gonzaga are coming off impressive victories during their last outings. Miocic pulled off a shocking upset over Roy Nelson, while Gonzaga is coming of back-to-back knockouts of Shawn Jordan and Dave Herman. Moicic has excellent boxing and head movement, and was able to avoid the ‘big punch’ from Nelson in his last fight. Gonzaga is an aggressive striker that will be looking for the knockout early in the fight and will use his solid wrestling to take the fight to the ground.
