UFC on Fox 7 Draws $1.33 Million Gate, Four Fighters Earn 50K Bonus

Josh Thomson earned 'knockout of the Night' honors for his brutal finish of Nate Diaz

The UFC put on its seventh Fox event live from the HP Pavilion in San Jose, California on Saturday night. The card drew an attendance of 13,506 and a gate of $1.33 million, and was another rousing success for both the network and the Ultimate Fighting Championship.
The event, which featured eight knockouts, handed out three $50K post-fight bonuses to four fighters. Josh Thomson and Romero Palacio shared ‘Knockout of the Night’ honors and each received a $50k bonus.
There were no submissions on the card that saw eight knockouts and two decisions. Matt Brown and Jordan Mein earned ‘Fight of the Night’ honors for their action-packed bout to open up the main card on Fox. Each fighter received $50k for their fight, which ended with a knockout for Brown.
