Official ugly NFL sweaters are here, just two months too late for the holidays
Each team has two different versions of the ugly holiday sweater -- the "Block pattern" seen at right and the "Wordmark" version seen below. Both are priced at $49.99, and available in Medium, Large and Extra Large.
Revel in the long-sleeve holiday cotton-wool merriment of the Ugly NFL Sweaters for all 32 teams. This is not some smartass blog's Photoshop project of football teams' ugly holiday sweaters. These are real NFL ugly sweaters delivered right to your door by distributors ClarkToys.com. They have been lovingly designed, manufactured, and distributed by a company called Forever Collectibles.
Clearly these sweaters are produced with a healthy sense of irony. The Baltimore Ravens version of the wordmark ugly sweater has purple camo on the sleeves -- a pattern beloved by Baltimore fans, and seen by the rest of the world as the fashion equivalent of National Bohemian beer.
Right now, the sweaters are only depicted as prototypes on Clark Toys' site. This indicates they have not been produced yet, and maybe will not be until Clark Toys knows roughly how many ugly NFL sweaters to produce. They are clearly a reputable company, though, and doing licensed business with the NFL. I fully expect a few fans in the stands to make it into national TV this season for having their ugly NFL sweaters on.
But do not expect to receive your sweater soon. According to Clark Toys, this product "ships in September".
