Up until today, the United Football League was best known for the fact that Mark Cuban has been involved with it and that the league is interested in getting Michael Vick to play in it. So, in other words, not the best of publicity for a league that has yet to actually start and appears to be setting itself up as a kind of NFL minor leagues. But today, that all changes. That's because With Leather tracked down the brand new UFL logo and it's, uh, well it's interesting.

Naturally because I blog, I have a dirty mind. But I can't be the only one that sees an excited star about to go to town on a...you know what, I'll just leave it at that.

Anyone else excited about this league? I know I am. And I know that star is as well.

Is this just a joke or is this league going to happen or Will it last . This has to be a joke because look what time of year is this league gonna play, Because during the summer to the end of November it's the CFL , Then from the end of July , early August to January it's the NFL. Also I think if this league happens it's gonna fail just like other leagues in the past such as the USFL, XFL, Then there is WLAF [world league of american football] which became NFL Europe which folded. Then there is one of the people involved in the United Football League Mark Cuban. Cuban owns the Dallas Mavs of the NBA, and he's started a MMA promotion. Here are 4 ,things to consider. 1- Where are the players going to come from?, 2- Who'll coach in this league? , 3- What will the Salary Cap be or will there be one, 4- What time of year will they play?

0	Doesn't this league have the blessing of the NFL? Did I read that somewhere? Like NFL Europe or something? If so, it might have a shot. I am sure there are lot of guys loading trucks and delivering boxes who would give that up for a shot at some football. If the teams are backed by the NFL and the competition is good, I'd give it a look.

0	(Edited by larrystarstruck) I would love to see a rival league. If it's a spring league, guaranteed failure sadly. It's just been tried too many times. On one hand, it would be nice to see a "developmental" league for the NFL but I am not sure the NFL would like it or even see that as competition. But I do plan on checking it out.
