The Americans can ensure advancement with a win or a tie, but could also advance if they lose, depending on what happens in the Ghana-Portugal game, which will be played simultaneously on ESPN2.

Yes...  One could tell watching the Germans play and the USA play that Das Mannshaft is much better than us.  Also looked like we were running out of gas in the final 20 minutes or so too...

Well...  4 days rest until our game in Salvador...   Thank you Portugal, BTW.

Was hoping some Klinsmann magic would result in a tie so the US could say they advanced without dropping a match.  Regardless, a 1-0 loss to a soccer power like Germany never felt so good
