Here we go again. In the tradition of previous U.S. vs. Mexico game threads, we bring you a video to get you ready for the match. Until Mexico actually beats the U.S., why change a good thing?

Tonight's friendly between the United States and Mexico has no real meaning at all. Try telling that to both squads. While most friendlies around the world are appropriately named, this is not the case with any meeting between the two CONCACAF powers. Both sides will be looking to start the new year off well leading into World Cup Qualifying, which will begin for both in June.

Neither country wants to risk the embarrassment of losing the other and both have called over large European contingents, so this should be a great match.

The live game thread is below. Kick off is at 9pm Eastern in Houston, and it is televised on ESPN2, or for those wanting to learn a bit of Spanish, Galavision.

My prediction: USA 2, Mexico 0 - as always.
