Faber suffered a broken hand during the fight, but kept going until the end, despite the fact that he was most likely in an incredible amount of pain. I guess when you're an MMA fighter, the whole "pain" thing just comes with the territory. He was nice enough, however, to post an x-ray picture of the damage on Twitter for the world to see.
Obviously, his bones in there are all jacked up. It's a bit gross, but fascinating to see what is actually a very common occurence in MMA.
Since every story needs a happy ending, here is his hand after they went in and reset everything. Recover quickly, Urijah. And for the sake of your dignity, don't ever wear your hair like that ever again, thank you very much.
