Don't worry, Kige is doing fine. He talked himself through the pain last night ...
Vanderbilt 93, Kentucky 52
Worst SEC loss in school history. It wasn't close 2 minutes into the game, and the score at half was a mind blowing 41-11. We're now in the middle of February so any 'adjusting to the new coach' excuses don't work. Nor do 'we don't have the talent.' You're Kentucky and have never lost this bad in conference play. If you want to bask in the fun of message board meltdowns ... spend your morning here. Billy Gillispie's 1st sesaon can't end fast enough and he's already wearing that on his sleeve.
Purdue 60, Michigan State 64
Robbie Hummel is the best freshman you haven't heard of and the Boilers are likely the best team you haven't given credit to yet. After scoring 21 points on the road in Madison, Hummel torched the Spartans for another 24. Easily the best player on the court. I've been hinting for a while now that Michigan State it terribly overrated. If it wasn't for lazy voters just looking at their record, they should be down in the 15-20 range and a 5 seed next month. 2009 was supposed to be the year for Purdue to return to the top of the conference, but 2008 is looking legit.
