Richmond and Villanova played a hotly contested FCS game last night with Villanova pulling out the one point win, ending Richmond's 17 game winning streak but this video has nothing to do with that.
Richmond marched down the field with 10 seconds to go, giving their kicker Andrew Howard a shot at the win and to keep the streak alive. Not to spoil it for you but he missed the kick, and that is when the announcing hilarity ensued.
After showing the replay of the kick, someone who had a hot mic gave us the honesty that you would love to see from all announcers when he said "What a bum" when talking about the kicker. To top it off, he was obviously done with that game as he proceeds to drop an f-bomb on the telecast.
Was it professional to call a college kid in the FCS a bum? No. Was it hilarious? Of course.
