Day 1 of the Bobby Knight Experiment as ESPN is underway. Naturally, the General joined Mike & Mike this morning before making his studio appearance tonight during Big East Tournament coverage.

To be expected, Knight spent most of his time talking to them as if they were infant children and then delivered another gem.

"If I were you two guys, with the limited knowledge of basketball that you have, I'd look forward to seeing me too."

We can only hope he's as honest with Digger Phelps as he was this morning. I hate to trumpet the WWL, but Knight's first studio appearance is a must see.

Bobby do you even listen to yourself talk? If you did you would punch yourself in the neck. Also they asked a question about teams on the bubble not for a damn doctoral dissertation on the history of the NCAA tournament field. When you got done with the question it was already time for the Sweet 16.

Note to ESPN: Please make sure Mrs. Jacobson hides the vodka.
