OK, embarrassed might not be strong enough of a word. Humiliated. Obliterated maybe. Owned even. Either way, the Lakers' performance was about the same as this guy's. As such, the Boston Celtics brought home their well deserved 17th World Championship by a whopping 131-92.

The game was close...for about a quarter. The Celtics then started outplaying and outhustling LA is every facet of the game, especially on the defensive end. It doesn't matter what stat you look at, from the 48-29 rebounding advantage to another poor night from Kobe Bryant (7-22 shooting) to the Lakers' 19 turnovers, it was all Boston. All contributed to a 26-6 Celtics run to end the half, and the rout was on. There was no way LA was coming back, and they folded like a cheap suit in the second half.
