Do you really think that men will ever stop trying to combine sports and sex? Never going to happen. Now if I were to post up an article about the hottest male sportscasters (I know, I know. Sports Illustrated will always put out the swimsuit edition, cheerleaders will always exist even though they serve no real purpose and Pat will post endless articles about hot girls. Let the boys have their fun. Also, Erin could do that. She isn't running for congress, she works in the world of professional sports. I really don't think she would lose her job over it. I have to agree that this is a bit of an unfair comparison. Erin Andrews came up through the ranks to finally make it as a big-time reporter. She just happens to be pretty. That's why there are no lingerie, swimsuit, or half-nude pictures of her. Charlotte is a model that knows a little bit about sports. Maybe she is a big futbol fan, and that's why she can express meaningful commentary about a match. A more fair comparison would be Charlotte to Jillian Barberie.

1. Not taking away from her mad sports skills, but any idiot knows not to pick against Man. U.

3. If you click on a link to picture of a hot chick and expect "hard" sports news then you deserve to be disappointed. You also deserve to be disappointed if you expect the phrase "Hot Sportscater" to lead you to solid journalism. This is a blog. Enjoy it for what it is. There are plenty of well thought out opinions and ideas (especially by Pat) on the site. This was not designed to have journalistic integrity. This was designed to show pictures of a hot chick and inject some entertainment to the site. Job well done.

4. Erin Andrews is still one of the hottest sportscasters in America, but definitely not the world.

Just for the record, I wasn't agreeing with you. I was pointing out that boys will be boys and nothing is going to change that. I'm a woman and I can appreciate the women sportscasters. Look at what I have to endure on the male side, at least they are putting someone appealing to look at. My only problem is when they do it strictly on looks, but these are smart girls that know their stuff. Also, Pat is a great writer and contributes so much to this site. I would hire him in heartbeat. I would want a writer that is well rounded and can look at things from every angle, even hot sportscasters. Lastly, for the love of god find your caps lock button please. It's located near the center all the way to the left side.

Screw it, I take American Andrews over the Brit. Ya, I said it. You got regular work-day pics of Andrews against airbrushed glam shots from a magazine for the Brit. Plus, I think a girl that doesn't have to do bikini pics or tiny lingerie shots (although those are still enjoyable) to look good makes her that much more sexy. A woman that truly knows how to look sexy can do it while showing a minimal amount of skin. Leaves more to the imagination!

Very true, but the trend is moving towards women being a staple in sports. You wouldnt have guessed there would be women on field with a microphone in their hand 20 years ago. Today they make more and more merchandise geared towards women as well as the fact they are starting to market directly to women. It is just a different kind of marketing for us. The kind of women that read cosmo and women's day generally aren't the ones you will find with a beer in their hand on Sunday. They are feeling it out but they are getting better at reaching the demographic of women they need to.

For me, you've gotta be more than just an empty helmet that looks good on a sideline. Erin's a decent reporter to go with the good looks and that's what makes her even more attractive. Eye candy like Jill Arrington, Lisa Guerrero, and that other blonde from MNF they had around the Dennis Miller years (I can't remember her name at the moment) looked nice on the sidelines but sounded like morons, especially Guerrero. Man was she just awful.

Jillian Barberie makes me want to punch a baby. She's not talented at all and has been hacked to pieces by the cast of Nip/Tuck.

The female reporters that look good and have a brain in their head are the hottest. I'd take the lovely Ms. Andrews, Suzy Kolber (she's got that short-hair, cute, fun sporty-girl thing going on. I can't explain it but I like it), and because I am an equal-opportunity admirer of the ladies, the so-so-fine Pam Oliver from Fox Sports as well.

okay, um whatever happened to jill arrington? she was a blonde bombshell. she was on cbs covering nfl and college football. she was so hot. I haven't seen her like 3 or 4 yrs. her dad played for uga 1966. He was the qb for the eagles in the early 70's. Jill went to University of miami.
