Flyers goalie Ilya Bryzgalov was the real hero for the Flyers against the Maple Leafs, with 29 saves in a 1-0 shootout win.
That having been said, there's no way to ignore this spectacular goal from Claude Giroux, which was the difference maker in the shootout
Giroux absolutely froze Leafs goalie Jonas Gustavsson, who had also been amazing in net, not allowing a single goal until Giroux's masterpiece.
Giroux's goal was straight out of Pavel Datstyuk's playbook. Datsyuk is known for this move, which is basically picking up the puck with the stick and throwing it into the goal like a lacrosse player.
Sick goal by Giroux, showing why he's one of the best players in the game right now. He leads the NHL in assists, and is 3rd in total scoring. This is just one of many great plays that he's made this year.

I hate Philadelphia with every ounce of my existence when it comes to professional sports, but I have to put my Flyers hatred aside for Giroux. That goal was a top 10 highlight reel shootout goal for the year.
