NBA Triple Threat: Your almost daily roundup of last night's action in the Association.Cleveland 114 Toronto 94 You might be wondering why I chose to lead off with such a beat down of a game. Well LeBron is the reason why. LeBron has been playing like a man possessed this season and doesn't show any signs of slowing down. LeBron is basically dunking, stealing, and out running everyone else on the court. LeBron scored 31 points including about 10 to 14 of them on just thunderous dunks, including a dunk contest dunk that you will see below. In addition to scoring 31 while leading Cleveland to their 9th straight win, Lebron also set the team record for career steals, passing Mark Price's 734. LeBron is also only 23. The Cavs improved to a franchise-best 18-3 and look even better than the team that pushed the Celtics to the brink in last season's playoffs. I for one can't wait until the Cleveland/Boston Eastern Conference Finals matchup, it should be epic.
San Antonio 133 Dallas 126 2OT I for one was loving the Spurs early struggles. They were floundering and looked like their window had finally closed and they were done for. Well not quite. I should have known that all those injured players would get healthy but I didn't want to believe it. Tim Duncan showed that he can still carry a team with 32 and 14 while Tony Parker added 29 points and 10 assists, showing us all that yet again, the Spurs will be around. And it wasn't just the Spurs best two players that helped them get this win, the Spurs as a team committed a ridiculously low 7 turnovers. 7 turnovers in a double overtime game! Dirk led the Mavs with 35 but the Mavs are still without Josh Howard who was in street clothes with a walking boot on. The Spurs have won three in a row and seven of their last ten overall to improve to 12-8.
Washington 107 Detriot 94 Something is wrong in Detroit and I think I know what it is. Allen Iverson. Sportscenter showed an interesting graphic tonight that I'd like to share with you (excuse the crappy quality, the iPhone doesn't take great pictures of tv's. Right click and view image if you can't see it):
As you guys can see from that, the Nuggets clearly got the better end of that deal and the Pistons continue to slip from elite to middle of the road. Tonight, they were up by 17 points in the 2nd quarter on the lowly Wizards and were rolling. Then the Wizards turned to their bench and the bench responded. Darius Songaila, Juan Dixon (16 points and 7 assists), Dominic McGuire (3-for-3, six points), Andray Blatche (eight points, five rebounds), and Nick Young (nine points) all came off the bench to provide the spark the Wizards needed since the four Wizard starters not named Caron Butler scored a combined 15 points. Caron Butler did have a huge game though with 33 points and 6 assists. The Pistons have lost four of five and dropped to 7-9 with Iverson in the lineup (it took 2 games after the actual trade to get him in the lineup) and 11-9 overall. Clearly the salary dump of Billups was the wrong move by Dumars.Best Lines

Video of the Night
As I mentioned above, LeBron had a dunk tonight that was basically a dunk contest dunk. First he gets the steal then takes off and jumps from a step inside the free throw line and well, just watch.
Wow.
Now it is your turn, share your thoughts on all of tonight's NBA action.
